Pool Parties

Pool parties are available at the Northern HS pool from 11am-1pm during our recreational swim time.  Most parties will spend between 1 and 1 1/2 hours in the pool and the remaining time in the pool lobby for cake time. 

Fee: $50 plus $5 per person for a minimum of 10 people (Minimum payment - $100).  Maximum 25 guests.

To Reserve a Pool Party:

· Contact Sue Newman @ 502-1177 or susan.newman@ymcaharrisburg.org to schedule party.  Due to popularity we recommend scheduling at least 4 weeks prior to date you are requesting.  Sue will send you the paperwork needed.

· Return application with the $50 fee to secure your party by given date.

· The per person fee is due the day of the party.

The Day of the Party:

• Plan to have your guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the party.  This will allow time for them to change into their swimsuits.  The lifeguard will then review the pool rules with the group so that all guests may be swimming at the start of the party.

• The YMCA has fun noodles, beach balls, and toys that the guests may use.  The diving board is not available for use.

• At the conclusion of the pool time, please have all guests clean up the pool area and return any borrowed equipment, toys, and games to their proper place.

• If you are using the lobby for food, the table and chairs will be set up for you.  This is during the 2 hour time frame.  Please clean up the area and leave bulky trash next to the trash can in the pool lobby no later than 1:30pm.

• Pay the per person fee prior to leaving.

DATES AVAILABLE FOR PARTIES 

Generally from November-February the weekends that do not have a high school or NYAC swim meet pool parties can be scheduled during open swim.
